SEAL team comprises of experts in petroleum industry, UGS, H2 & CO2 gas storage, CSG &CBM and petrochemical industries having a collective experience of over 200 years. SEAL provides services to industries for conventional petroleum E&P, naturally fractured reservoirs, CSG, shale gas projects and UGS gas storage and CO2 gas injection-sequestration.
SEAL team consists of reservoir and production engineers experienced in field operations and reservoir simulation studies; geoscientists experienced in a wide range of petroleum data analysis, operations and interpretations, well engineers with a wide range of experience in drilling and completion and well integrity issues, process engineers experienced in designing and addressing surface facility issues, and project management experts who have executed upstream and downstream onshore and offshore projects, in a wide range of geographic locations, geological basins and corporate cultures. The expertise extends to seismic interpretation, geological static modelling, dynamic reservoir modelling, surface facility, well integrity, drilling and completion.
The SEAL Team was first put together in 2011 to apply their collective skills-sets to one of Australia’s Flagship Carbon Capture and Storage projects, the Victorian based CarbonNet Project. Working to highly exacting geotechnical standards and under government and public scrutiny through a closely audited workflow to International Best Practices, the Team has been fully integrated to maximise its individual strengths and collective capabilities.
SEAL Energy was then officially formed in 2014 using the same team to provide subsurface consultancy services to both petroleum and CCUS projects. Since then, we have expanded our services to cover wider activities including surface facilities, well engineering, drilling and completion and project management.
